The demonstration launch for the Massachusetts CompareCare website is now open. The website, operated by the state’s Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA), publishes information allowing the public to compare data about the quality and cost of certain shoppable health care services; this was mandated by a 2012 law. MA physicians whose data are published on the site have until February 7 to submit comments to CHIA.
