Overview of Lahey Health

Overview of Lahey Health

Lahey Health was formed in 2012 through the affiliation of Lahey Clinic and Northeast Health System. Winchester Hospital joined in 2014. Lahey Health is now an integrated delivery system with approximately 2,400 physician partners, 14,350 employees, and $2 billion in annual revenue.

Lahey Health provides high-quality, high-value, accessible and personal healthcare. It includes an award-winning academic medical center and superb community hospitals, ambulatory centers, pain management centers, primary care providers, specialists, behavioral and home health services, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and senior care resources throughout northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The system has a global presence with programs in Canada, Jordan and Bermuda.

Strong physician alignment, engagement, and leadership, along with shared governance at all levels, are the cornerstone of the success of the system. Under the Lahey Health model of care — right care, right place, right time — patients move continuously between the tertiary center, community hospitals and community providers, ensuring care is highly coordinated and locally delivered.
