Provider Relations

Supporting our Providers

The Northeast PHO (NEPHO) Provider and Payor Relations Department focuses on ensuring our providers are set up and paid properly with our contracted health plans and resolving any related issues that may arise, allowing our providers to focus on patient care.  We work closely with the practices to provide services that more specifically include:

  • Coordinating information and initial enrollment for participation in NEPHO managed care contracts
  • Acting as the liaison for the provider to the NEPHO contracted health plans to resolve enrollment or
claims and payment issues that may impact practice operations
  • Providing monthly newsletters outlining information regarding provider and practice changes, meeting highlights, quality measures & pharmacy topics, payor updates, patient experience comments and diagnosis coding tips
  • Communicating timely and accurate information regarding changes in health care regulations and their effect on individual practice operations
  • Leading operational meetings with health plan representatives
  • Hosting quarterly informative meetings with practice office managers to provide updates on specific managed care plans, policy changes, claims and billing guidelines, etc.
  • Organizing and distributing NEPHO Provider Directory updates throughout the organization on a monthly basis
