Dr. Lihi Tzur was born in Israel, but raised in the U.S., where she considers Virginia home. She graduated with honors from Virginia Tech, where she received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology. She attended the Technion American Medical School in Israel to be closer to her family during her medical studies, as well as be exposed to another medical system and culture. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA and completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where she served as chief resident. During residency, she took an active role in medical student education as well as participating in organization of regional conferences. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Tzur has an interest in medical dermatology including skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and allergic contact dermatitis. She cares for patients of all ages, from infants to elderly. She is active in skin cancer screenings and community education.
Outside of clinic, she loves spending time with friends and family as well as her dog, Milo. She enjoys traveling abroad to visit her family when she has time off.
